No. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and depend on solar activity and clear skies. We monitor forecasts and adjust locations in real time to maximize your chances, but sightings can never be guaranteed.
How long does the tour last?
The tour typically lasts 3–4 hours, depending on weather conditions and how far we need to drive to find clear skies.
How many people are in the group?
We operate in small groups, with a maximum of 8 guests. This allows more flexibility, less rushing, and better positioning for viewing and photography.
Is pickup included?
Yes. Pickup is included within the Rovaniemi area. Exact pickup time is confirmed on the day of the tour based on route planning and conditions.
What should I wear?
Dress in warm winter layers, including thermal base layers, insulated boots, hat, gloves, and thick socks. Temperatures can drop significantly at night.
Do you provide winter clothing?
Winter clothing rental is not included unless specified in your booking. If needed, we recommend arranging proper winter gear in advance.
Can I bring my own camera?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own camera. We provide guidance on basic settings and positioning to help you capture the aurora.
Are professional photos included?
Yes. Professional photos taken during the tour are included and shared with you after the experience.
What happens if the weather is very bad?
If conditions are unsafe or extreme, the tour may be rescheduled. We always prioritize safety and real-time decision-making.
Is this a bus tour with fixed stops?
No. This is not a fixed-route bus tour. We adjust the route during the evening based on cloud movement and conditions to improve viewing chances.
